You can create a layer-2 tunnel on the switch between the Router ports
concerned. When you do a show CDP it will show you the other router
instead of the switch and that way you can pass CDP "routes". Hope this
helps.

Subject: ODR Over Ethernet Segments

Hello Folks,

I was practicing ODR and noticed that I was able to get it working over
Serial
links, but not over Ethernets. The Ethernet link is question goes
through a
switch in between. Since ODR uses CDP, I am assuming that this is normal
as
routers see the intermediate switch as its CDP neighbor and hence are
not able
to pass CDP "routes" between them directly.

Can someone please confirm this or prove me wrong.

Thanks,
Imran.
