Joshua,
I've seen that error once before on a 2600 when the flash module was bad. I just swapped it out and the problem went away. Do you have another 32meg flash module to try?

Subject: Format Cisco 2620 32M flash Problem
Hi,
Per Brian's suggestion, i "tftpdndl -r" to push IOS into DRAM, and "sh flash" shows 32M flash on system board (Read/Write). But the new problem is when i try to "copy tftp flash", it says "System flash write protected" What should i do to fix it?
Thanks,
Joshua
