Hi guys,

In a switched network, can some switches run STP while other run RSTP? I
read that RSTP is backwards compatible with STP but it sounds to me that if
you don't want problems, all switches should run the same variation of STP.

Does anyone have first hand experience with a mixed STP and RSTP network?

Also, as compared to STP, about how long does RSTP take to reconverge?

Any thoughts, comments?
