Hi All,
You know what, if its VPN client, I don't think any client would save
the password. When we talk about security saving a static password
itself first level of breach of security, moreover with the VPN client
no network ever would allow / Net admin would configure so to use a
static password, it is usually a soft token key generator is what is
used, the password to access the key generator is what is static, here
again as a security measure, the token generator wouldn't allow you to
store password.
I am not talking about just Cisco, now I am using a Nortel VPN Client,
that has a same feature as Cisco.
If you VPN client doesn't store your password, good, that's how it is
meant to be.....have a peace mind now..
Alright guys,
Raja

Is the VPN 3002 connecting to a Cisco VPN 3000 Concentrator? If it is,
the VPN 3000 is probably configured for "Interactive unit
authentication". To verify, in the VPN 3000 concentrator go to
Configuration | User Management | Groups | HW Client tab and see if
"Require Interactive Hardware Client Authentication" is checked.
