When the value of the TTL is not explicitly configured the External BGP
neighbor may be up to 255 hops away.

Hi Group

 BGP question:

To configure the BGP peering with two routers which has 2 or more hops
away,

Can I just configure the below multihop command without TTL limit. In
this case what will be the ttl value will be assigned to the packet??
(Is it 255??)

"Neighbor 10.108.1.1 ebgp-multihop"

Regards.
Pandi
