Not sure if this can be done but here it goes.
Does anyone know of a way or any adapter that would be able to convert
one of the FXS analog ports on a Cisco ATA 186 adapter to an FXO port
that you can connect to a PSTN Pots line?
What I'm trying to do is be able to get CCM 4.1 to send and receive
OffNet calls via a single analog POTS line without going through a
gateway (cisco router) with an FXO card.
Their is a pretty cheap 3rd party ATA adapter that has both an FXS and
FXO adapter. However, it only supports SIP v2 and I have not been able
to get this to work with CCM 4.1. The ATA adapter is a SIPURA SPA-3000
Analog Telephone Adapter http://www.sipura.com/products/spa3000.htm
Any recommendations would be appreciated.
