Asunto: How to get rid of annoying frame-relay subinterfaces?
Hello All,
Sometimes when configuring frame-relay subinterfaces I accidentally
configure the wrong interface type but the only way I can change it is by
removing the interface and rebooting.
Is there a way to do this without rebooting?
R5#conf t
Enter configuration commands, one per line. End with CNTL/Z.
R5(config)#int ser0/0.5 point-to-point
R5(config)#int ser0/0.5 multipoint
% Warning: cannot change link type
R5(config-subif)#
R5(config-subif)#exit
R5(config)#no int ser0/0.5 point-to-point
Not all config may be removed and may reappear after reactivating the
sub-interface
