thanks for helping..
yes.. i'm not allow to use ip ospf network in all routers...

i double check my config.. and i notice there's a mistake..
R1 is actually a physical interface.. and its a non-broadcast..

hmm,i would think that the possible solution is to change the R1 interface
to point-multipoint.. which does not require DR/BDR and by using the
neighbot statement
it shold bring up the neighbor...

any comment ?

Subject: RE: OSPF over Frame Relay!

You'll want to make sure that your interface types agree.....you may be
able to form a relationship, but the routes will not pass. This has to
do with the DR/BDR.....take a look at the show ip ospf int command
.....are you not allowed to use the network command on all routers? Or,
just R1, or R2? If it is on a specific router....then you should change
the other router to agree. Or, you can change the interface to
agree.....point-to-point vs. point-to-multipoint.....(which don't use a
DR/BDR). The broadcast and non-broadcast need a DR/BDR. On your
example, you changed the one side to broadcast and everything worked. I
would assume that the other side is already set for broadcast. If you
have non-broadcast on both sides, you need to use the neighbor statement
at the DR(hub) to form the adjancency. Hope this helps.

Subject: OSPF over Frame Relay!

in OSPF routing protocol over frame relay
R1 using Point to Multipoint
    network 1.1.1.1 area 0
    network 10.0.0.0 area 1

R2 using Point to point
    network 1.1.1.2 area 0
    network 20.0.0.0 area 2

and we're not allow to use ip ospf network command

i can form the neighbor adjacency by manually specified neighbor in
R1... and
change the hellointerval in R2..

when i do a sh ip ospf database... i can see network 20.0.0.0 in R1, and
network 10.0.0.0 in R2..

but it doesn't show up in routing table...

when i issue the command. ip ospf network broadcast in R2..

everything works fine...

any clue ?
