Hi Team,

I am studying private vlan concept and found a good url link. I have some doubts and thinks somebody in the group can clear the doubts.
  LINK:
  http://www.cisco.com/en/US/tech/tk389/tk689/technologies_configuration_example09186a008017acad.shtml

  QUESTIONS:
-Assume there are 15 ports(fa 0/1 to fa 0/15) originally configured for vlan 100 with switchport mode access and switch port access vlan 100
-Now the admin want to make 2 ports as private vlan isolated(vlan 101)(say port fa 0/14 & fa0/15, isolated(to make sure there is no communication between both)
-To make another port(fa0/1) as a promiscous port(managment pc) to communicate with both isolated vlans.
-so we can chane configs for port fa 0/1,fa 0/14, fa0/15, vlan 100 and vlan101(see the url)
-Now the question is what will happen to other ports other than ports fa0/1,fa0/14, fa0/15(promiscous and isolated), will they be considered as access-ports, promiscous ports or what?, what will be the communication status of other ports with isolated ports(fa 0/14,fa0/15) and promiscous port(fa0/1)

  thanks

  Mani
