Hi Max,
To determine default values, you can enable dampening at the interface
level using the "dampening" command with no arguments specified. After
dampening is enabled, you can issue a "show interface dampening" command
to display configured values.
Thanks,
Andrew

Subject: IP event Dampening
Hi all,
can anyone helps me?
I have some doubts about the feature ip event dampening.
Doc cd says the interface is dampened when the accumulated penalty fall
above the suppress threshold, so after some up/down of the interface the
router declare it dampened.
my question is: wath is the penalty value for every up/down of the
interface?
If I want an interface dampened only after 2 or 3 up/down in 10 seconds
wath keywords will be configured?
thanks in advance for any comments
Max
