understanding the different NSSA options

Just wanted to double check and see if I have the different NSSA options
down. There is one option I didnt see in the DOC CD that I am wondering
about. The translate option says that it translates type 7 to type 5 LSA's.
That is done on the ABR anyways. Why would this be an option ? The only
reason i can think of is maybe if you where in a router that is not an ABR
and you needed to convert it to a type 5 so other non NSSA routers that are
local to you can accept the route ?

   Thanks,

default-information-originate "of course sends default route"
no-redistribution "prevents a interace in the NSSA from
converting type 5 LSA's to 7 blocking redistribution on that single
interface"
no-summary "prevents an interface from sending
intra-area type 3 LSA's"
translate "not sure of"
