All,

I passed yesterday at Brussels - 2nd attempt.

I flew home yesterday evening and anxiously awaiting my result, I stayed up
until 1, still no mail. I woke up this morning at 6 to find it waiting in
my inbox. A big deep breath later and I saw the mystical number "15331". I
was nearly sick!!

I know for a fact that I could not have passed this exam without the help
and guidance of this group study forum. When I first signed up to group
study, I was blown away by how much I didn't know and would have to learn.
Slowly, but surely, I chipped away at it and the hard work has paid off.

Quick tips for CCIE success:-
Buy a big white board from IKEA!! It cost me about #6 ($10) and was one of
the best assets in my home lab.

Material that I read:- (this is not the whole list by a long shot - but the
key ones) Bridger, Routers and Switches by Caslow Cisco Cookbook from
O'Reilly The bible that is the InternetworkExpert Work Book.

And now some heartfelt thank you's

Brian and Brian - without the effort and passion that you put into what you,
I'm sure that I would not be here. I remember watching a few of the online
classrooms of yours and marveling at the sheer love for the subject that you
fellas have - Inspiring.

Lee Donald - Yes, you were an inspiration. When we were sat in the bar
after my first attempt, I remember thinking, with a bit more effort - I
could be that happy!!

Scott Morris - I know that most everyone thanks you, but you deserve all the
thanks you get. Your posts on Group Study always seem to have an elegant
clarity to them, which makes it all seem, well, easy !

All of Group Study - Without the questions that are asked and the support
that is given on this board, I know that it would have taken me a long, long
time to get my ccie, and would probably have given up. It is a very
demanding mistress, but reading all of the stories from the board encouraged
me to push on.

Once again - thank you one and all, I could not have done it without you.

Leigh
