Make sure that if you are using VTP, then you are in a client-server
environment and not a server-transparent environment.

Subject: Problems with dot1q trunk port

   Hello,

I have configured a trunk port connecting my sw1 and sw2 switch on
gig1/0/15 on both sides. Gig1/0/15 con sw1 is connected to gig1/0/15
of sw2. For some reason on sw1 it is not showing any vlans being
forwarded over the trunk line, but on sw2 it does. I have tried
reloading the switches and bouncing the ports and nothing seems to
work. Has anyone else seen this ?

       Thanks,

SW1#sh int trunk
