Howdy,

I'd say that this depends on the wording of the exam.

I real life, I use the dchp server to assign vlan and qos values to the
phones, then get the switches to trust those values, as if I need to
change them, I only need to do it in one place.

In the lab, you'll be asked to do something specific. You could either
trust it, rewrite it or do nothing. Personally, I'd do nothing if it
wasn't asked for (or I didn't see it!!)
