Hello all,
I need to know various troubleshooting methods for ATM PVC and SVC. Imagine
I have 2 ATM routers connecting each other. The ATM path is built using 3
ATM switches between my routers. I am asked to configure PVC and SVC on my
routers. Assume one of ATM switch interface facing another ATM switch is
deliberately shutdown. I can use PVC OAM manage to troubleshoot this since
my line protocol will go down on both routers when they don't receive end to
end loopback cells. I want to know how do I troubleshoot this if I am asked
to configure just SVC and I have no end to end PVC details. I know OAM
management can be done with SVC's also but would that really help in
troubleshooting this particular problem.
