RE: ipv6 support!

Hi

That's strange, I have that exact code loaded on my 2500. When I tried using it for BB1 it supported IPv6 but not ISIS. Although you can enter "router isis" you can't use "ip router isis" on the interface.

Does BB1 in v3 still use ISIS?

For the upcoming 3.0 release of IEWB-RS I have been using a 2501 for BB1 running c2500-is-l.122-15.T17.bin. This version supports RIPng and OSPFv3, plus all other required IPv4 features. I would not discount the 2500 series for your home lab yet. 80% or more of the features within the scope of the routing & switching exam can be configured on the 2500 series routers. For the price they are still a great investment for your home lab.
