Stefan,
Session in this instance refers to a session with the router via the tty
i.e. lines vty 0 4
Therefore a trap will be sent once a session is established to the router
if you want to enable traps for bgp, then just snmp-server enable traps bgp
will do fine

Subject: Snmp-server enable traps tty command
Hello,
What is this command in real life used for?? I read in the documentation
that this enables traps for TCP session establishment. So a question
appeared:
When we want for example to send the bgp traps we configure:
snmp-server enable traps bgp. Should we also enable the TCP traps by the
above command since BGP session esteblishment is based on TCP?? Just a
thought...
thanks,
