By default the precedence of an IP packet will be reset to 0 when entering a
port on the 3550. Thanks to the command trust ip precedence, the switch
won't modify his preference. But because of the command set ip precedence 5,
all the packets entering your port will probably have their prec set to 5.

The only diff between the 2 policy-map is the class.

What does the command "trust ip-precedense" definitely do???

what is the difference between two policies below??
for Switches 3550

mls qos

policy-map POLICY1
class CLASS1
trust ip-precedence
set ip precedence 5

and

policy-map POLICY2
class CLASS2
trust ip-precednece
set ip precedence 5

??
