What does the command "trust ip-precedense" definitely do???

what is the difference between two policies below??
for Switches 3550

mls qos

policy-map POLICY1
class CLASS1
trust ip-precedence
set ip precedence 5

and

policy-map POLICY2
class CLASS2
trust ip-precednece
set ip precedence 5

??
