No Control C or D...or disconnecting from console (which I used to login)
did not help. May be some kind of inactivity timeout would have done if I
had one configured? Will lab that up.
I used brute-force: telneted from another router and reloaded. Do not laugh
now :) Was feeling stupid about it.
