Michael,
If you don't have a practice lab workbook, get one (or two).
I used the IE workbook which is fantastic but I hear very good things about
the NMC workbook as well.
Having the Cisco Press books such as Routing TCP/IP vol 1 & 2 and others is
essential for understanding these protocols but nothing helps you learn to
apply theory like doing the labs in a practice labs workbook.

the CCIE-lab:

What are the recommended books that I should use in order to prepare ? Also
do I need any additional equipment, or is this enough ? Your suggestions
would be greatly appreciated.
