That multimedia streamer looks interesting, but if you would prefer a
minimalist app, try mgen http://mgen.pf.itd.nrl.navy.mil/
It takes a few minutes to become comfortable with the format of the scripts,
but once you do its easy to use.

I use VLC...
It's a free multimedia app, so I stream mp3 or video to a multicast address
as I feel...
Just make sure you increase the ttl value in the options otherwise it will
not work for you.

It also works on most OS'...
