Hi Mike,
This is normal because it is the default for portsecurity. Change it to
max of 3 and you will see it in the runningconfig...
Happy Labbing...

Cheers

Subject: Configuring Switchport Port security

   Hello,

I am trying to configure Port Security to only allow one Mac address.
When doing a show run on the interface it is not showing the command
switchport port-security maximum 1. But when I do a show port sec on the
interface it says maximum Mac addresses configured it shows only one. So
even though it is not showing the maximum 1 command on the interface it
should be working properly correct ?

    Thanks,

      Mike F.
