Hi group.
I am hoping to clear this ones for all. Do the command no arp frame-relay
really have any effect. Do it really stop requests for inverse arp like some
people say. Many people will clame that this command stops inverse arp
request from the other side of the frame-relay link and that it is a
redundant
command for the no frame-relay inverse arp command, but I think this is a
command that has really no effect at all. The command clearly say no ARP
frame-relay.
But then again, why would Cisco even make a command like that for a
frame-relay configuration since they should know very well that there is no
Arp resolution in a frame-relay cloud. I have searched all the IOS command
references back to release 10.3 without finding any documentation on
this. So if you guys could let me know what you think. I think this is a old
command that is not really doing anything, and that it is not stopping
inverse arp request at all..
Thanks
