Hi All,
going through this task 3.9 and the solutions available, i have found out that there is no real need to configure a pt-t-pt subinterface on R4, this task can be performed on the main interface as well.
Although, R4 cannot ping itself, no matter what i try ( and so goes for R2, for itself)
My question is:
1) if a subinterface is used on R4 to accomplish the pp over FR task, and in doing so i contradict task 3.2 .... do i lose marks for 3.2 alone ? or 3.9 as well ?
2) do i loose any credits if i configure R4's main interface rather than doing the subinterface ?
3) task 3.6 is violated no matter what is done (step1 or 2 above) ... is there a way to gain any credits for 3.6 task, if section 3.9 is not performed at all......... and therefore section 3.2 and 3.6 get full marks...
can methodology in step 3 above be used to get credits for the configuration that is working ....... even though the whole task is not performed in minute details?
