Is this true?

I think if the device did not come up, it a hardware problem and not part of
my Lab, is one really responsible for installing a new IOS if there is need?

My opinion is to report the 'hardware bug' to your proctor, they will fix it
and give you more time, but you are responsible for any lost or unsaved
configurations.

If installing a new IOS is a task on the Lab, which will award me a point,
then it will be stated clearly.

I need a second opinion on this.....
