Has anyone ever had this happen:
224M-XL, 12.0(5)WC11
Config loaded is as follows:
int vlan 1
ip addr 1.1.1.1 255.0.0.0
no shut
PC connected to port 2, at address 1.1.1.2 with
nothing else plugged into the switch
PC can ping the switch. Switch CANNOT ping the pc,
although it can tftp (archive /xtract) to/from the PC.
Switch has the correct MAC address in its ARP table
for the 1.1.1.2 address.
I can't even imagine how to make it do this, but its
survived two IOS loads, and several reboots and
wr/erase reloads.
Yes I have a TAC case open - just seeing if the smart
people on this list have ever seen anything like this.
