no probs then,

after the router boots up normally change the config-register to
0x2101 so it goes into Rxboot mode on reboot and then upgrade the IOS.

In case your router doesnt even have ROM based RxBoot , then change
the config-register to 0x 2100 so it goes into ROMMON or Break the
boot sequence and goto ROMMON mode and then use either tftpdnld (If
available) or XMODEM to load the new IOS.
