Gladston,

Can you put the trust COS under your policy > class? I know you
can with dscp.....That way your mls qos is enabled globally and on the
interface through the service policy.

Hi Ed,

mls qos trust cos works just fine.

I was testing if there was another way to set CoS. It seems, even though

IOS takes the command, it does not set CoS using MQC.

Cordially,

Gladston,

I never tried it before. Wonder if you want to try this on the uplink
interface of the switch.
(config-if)#mls qos trust cos

It doesn't hurt to try...........

Flannagan book's shows set IP prec and set ip dscp. (I am wondering if
this is an indication that set CoS is not supported, although IOS takes
the command.

The following config does not work.
