Most 12.2T are OK for this. Most preferable is to use a multilink
interface as below, it is more reliable than a virtual template alone
for some reason in my experience. The key config elements are given
below:
!
Multilink virtual-template 1
!
Int s0/0
Fram-relay traffic-shaping
No ip addr
Encap frame
!
Int s0/0.708 point-to-point
Frame-relay interface-dlci 708 ppp virtual-temp 1
!
Int s0/0.718 point-to-point
Frame-relay interface-dlci 718 ppp virtual-temp 1
!
interface Virtual-Template1
no ip address
no peer neighbor-route
ppp authentication chap
ppp multilink
ppp multilink group 1
!
interface Multilink1
ip address 78.78.78.8 255.255.255.0
no cdp enable
ppp authentication chap
ppp multilink
ppp multilink fragment delay 10
ppp multilink group 1

Subject: multlink frame-relay
Hello Team,
Was wondering if anyone uses multilink frame-relay configuration on a
3600 router, if so which IOS version are you using, and have you had any
issues.
Thanks for the feedback,
Sincerely,
