OT: My favorite mnemonic I ever heard was in college chemistry. Most
of us Americans learned the colors of the visible spectrum in High
School as ROYGBIV. I once had an chemistry professor from the UK who
said, "...and of course we all know the colors of the spectrum from that
old mnemonic, Richard of York Gave Battle in Vain".(said with a thick
English accent) I almost fell out of my chair. :-)
