Well, come to think of it - I have two.
To remember on which switch to configure STP parameters, I use
D U D
C P I
Where D = Downstream & U = Upstream
and C = Cost; P = Port Priority and I = Interface #
This is useful when there are 2 3550's connected back-to-back via
multiple trunks. STP will place all ports except one in block mode.
The other is Police take a Byte out of crime - to remember that CAR uses
Bytes not bits.
