Hi Guys,

I have a question. On the 3550 when an trunk interface is manually put in
trunk mode(using 'sw mode trunk' command) , DTP is still running. In order to
stop that from happening, 'switchport nonegotiate' command is required.

Now when the port is in access mode, do we need the 'switchport nonogotiate'
command to disable DTP on the access port
