You can't queue on a sub-interface. Queues exist on physical interfaces.

However, if you employ shaping, that will create a queue for the sub-if
which you can then use to queue.

Subject: CBWFQ on sub-int's

Hi guys,

Why is this?

R1(config-subif)#service-policy output TEST CBWFQ : Not supported on
subinterfaces

I tried applying a MQC to a sub-interface, and the router said, "NO YOU
DON'T".

Anybody know why that is?

This happened to be a p2p sub but maybe this is true for p2m sub's. I don't
know yet but I'm gonna try it now.

TIA,Tim
