This cisco bgp faq has some basic info on this , but does not seem to be
the case here , as ospf has AD of 110 and BGP 20 from ebgp so I would
assume he put this in bgp fib ???

Subject: BGP table interpritation What does r mean next to bgp route ?

Hi , below you can see that the network 204.12.1.0 has the r next to it
, which indicates rib failure . This router r4 is learning 204.12.1.0
via an internal peer , this internal peer is learning via an ebgp
relationship , now this router r4 is learning about the 204.12.1.0
network via an igp namely OSPF , so does this r indicate hey I know
about this route via ospf so I am not going to use the bgp route ??
