      The only other option I could think of would be to Bridge the
interface and use IRB with a BVI interface. Didn't have time to lab it
to verify it though....

I have scenario that two routers need to establish the connectivity
through SVC, the ESI address need to be configured on logical
interface,

R1 (10.1.1.1) --------(10.1.1.2) R2

10.1.1.2 should not be configured on any atm interface of R2,
unnumbered ip address and PPP encapsulation is not allowed.

What should I do, greatly appreciated if someone can show some
configurations
