Tiger,
Sorry to hear of your failure, I too was unable to obtain the required marks on Thursday of this week. Did you take your exam in Brussels on the 19th ???
If so then you were not the only one not to be able to access the Doc Cd. I did mention it to the proctor in the morning, and I believe there was a problem with the Web Server. The Doc Cd was available later in the afternoon.
This is certainly not something you would expect on such an exam, and thoroughly disorientated myself.
In addtion my rack was not at all prepared. After reading through the exam paper several times, and making the requisite diagrams I was saddened to find that my routers did not have the initial configs installed. I then had to wait for the Proctor to reload my rack! This all seemed to be working against me.
I really do think that the organisation of the exam in Brussels on Thursday was shoddy, and I intend to air my concerns with Cisco.
Having said all that I do know that I made some pitiful errors that I may or may not have picked up upon if I had the luxury of more time and a working Doc Cd.
Oh well - On to the next exam

Hi Tiger. Sorry for your failure. Just re-take while you have
everything fresh on your mind (OK, brush some weak points before
that).
I took my unsuccessfully first attempt in San Jose last week. The DOC
CD was NOT available via the web. The proctor put a CD in the drive
and we are all cool. ...I suggest you complain to ccie@cisco.com about
the incident and hope they will do some adjustment (may be a discount)
for your next attempt.
Take care:)
