Gary,
Dynamic routing protocols use differing methods to calculate their metric values. (Hop count, Bandwidth, Delay, etc). When performing redistribution, you need to add appropriate metric value for the protocol. With EIGRP, you specify Bandwidth-Delay-Reliability-Load-MTU.
From the interface that's getting redistributed, perform a show interface X Y, where X is the interface type and Y is the interface number. Use these numbers to populate your metric settings for EIGRP.
Rack1R5#sho int fa 0/0
FastEthernet0/0 is up, line protocol is up
Hardware is AmdFE, address is 0001.96db.4760 (bia 0001.96db.4760)
Internet address is 183.1.58.5/24
MTU 1500 bytes, BW 100000 Kbit, DLY 100 usec,
reliability 255/255, txload 1/255, rxload 1/255
