Thanks for the input. My real world experience with RSPAN has been mostly
on CatOS switches, which doesn't use reflector ports. Thanks again for the
info. I will make sure that I use this if asked to configure a RSPAN in the
lab. Thanks.

reflector port is usually used mainly for RSPAN, it usually used one of the
port (not connected is fine) to reflect the mirrored traffic back to the
RSPAN vlan. Reflector port is not necessary on SPAN since the SPAN is local
mirroring.
