Subject: OSPF persistant area question
Hi,
Can any explain how (Or why) the following situation happens?
Adding a network on two routers to a new area (Not area 0, only two
members), which should have been an NSSA but initially I mistakenly
configured as a stub area.
Realising my mistake I remove all OSPF config and re-add both interfaces as
NSSA. However every time I recreate it's still shows up as a stub area when
I perform a show ip ospf.
Not as yet tried reloading (Which I guess would definitely work). What can I
do? I've tried removing the OSPF config completely & clearing the ospf
process on both routers, but every time I recreate the area it reappears as
a stub area, despite the new config.
Can anyone tell me why this happens?
