What hardware platform is the router? If the platform doesn't support IPv6
OSPF, it won't actually start a process, even though it takes the command.

Subject: IE Workbook - OSPF IPv6 configuration [bcc][faked-from]
Importance: Low

Hi all,
I have trouble with configuring IPv6 for OSPF. When I issued the command
<ipv6 router ospf 1>, router did not take me into routeing protocol
configuration mode but still in the global configuration mode instead and
can not issue any OSPF ipv6 command after that at all.
Here is an example:
Rack1R1(config)#ipv6 unicast-routing
Rack1R1(config)#int f0/0
Rack1R1(config-if)#ipv6 address 2001:cc1e:1:3::/64 e
Rack1R1(config-if)#exit
Rack1R1(config)#ipv6 router ospf 1
Rack1R1(config)#
I'm using IOS ver 12.2(15)T8
Could someone please help.
