Here is my impression of why would you use ppp multilink in
conjunction with dialer-load threshold command.
Dialer-load threshold brings up the 2nd channel when the threshold is
reached. However, the 2nd channel will not be used until the bandwidth
on the 1st channel is fully used up. When ppp multilink is configured
packets are always load balanced across both channels when both are
up.
To make it simple, "dialer-load threshold" is the triggering method
and "ppp multilink" makes use of both links.
