Autoinstall DHCP config- Network vs Host

For autoinstall if the there is a single router and Mac address is not
provided can we use the "host XXXX" instead of "network xxxx" under DHCP
config?

This is a solution from Cisco press R&S book (LAB1) which uses "network"

ip dhcp pool 1
   network 10.50.50.0 255.255.255.248
   bootfile R9-config
   option 150 ip 172.16.0.59
   default-router 10.50.50.1
