Yeah, I agree, the flow and format is very good, and it does cover
most of the topic for CCIE R/S, but just my personal opinion:
1. it's raw material, not fine tuned. some topics only have few words
in it, not fully covered. I heard Caslow will publish another book
based on it, looking forward to it...
2. you'd better browse the CCD first, or have at least CCNP level of
knowledge, otherwise, you will feel the material is way beyond your
knowledge; in another word, it doesn't give you the full picture you
have to learn for a specific topic, instead, only a few points that
are important or tricks you don't normally learn from the usual
materials.
3. have a home lab handy, always simulate the configuration and show
commands, I've found it's a very useful learning method.
4. read the non-technical session throughout, it gives you a solid
foundation for preparing the actual lab: your habit, home-grown
commands, and etc. It takes time to get used to these stuff, but very
important time-savers.
