Have you ever wondered if the "Current CCIEs" and "Success Stories" claims by these CCIE Workbook vendors are misleading at best? I see the same CCIE numbers being claimed by several vendors? Who really deserves the bragging rights? Not surprisingly the Testimonial are always less than the Success Stories. (hopefully these testimonials are even genuine) Do the vendors really consult these guys for permission before listing their CCIE numbers? Or they list them simply because these guys bought their material. I have bought 3 vendor materials but I only use one of them, because the other 2 anre no good; so if I pass the test, would it be right for ALL 3 vendors to claim they were the reason that I passed?

I am bring this up because folks spend their hard earned $$$ on these materials and they need to have faith in which vendor is really worth buying from. Someone must police these vendors because they are really getting greedy and misleading. This is only going to get worst since the job market seems to be getting better and more people want the CCIE knowledge.

What do you think?
