Is there a reason why you are dialing spids and not LDNs?
In general, specifying both numbers can allow some redundancy in the event
one of the numbers is unavailable for whatever reason.
In 12.2(8)T and later, you can specify whether the dialer order should be
sequential, round-robin, or last-successful with the 'dialer order' command.

Subject: basic BRI with no mlppp question [bcc][faked-from]
Importance: Low
I had a scenario where R1 & R2 are connected via BRI, with each Rtr
having two isdn numbers and one ip. Assuming no MLPPP, Which of the
below config should i choose on R1 ?
R1 (2.2.2.1)-----bri--------(2.2.2.2) R2
a)
R1:
dialer map ip 2.2.2.2 spid1
dialer map ip 2.2.2.2 spid2
b)
since the ip destination is same..can i dial just one spid ?
R1:
dialer map ip 2.2.2.2 spid1 or spid2
c) in the above scenario, should i choose 1 spid/B-channel for each
direction ? If both Rtr can Dial each other.
R1: dialer map ip 2.2.2.2 spid1ofR2
R2: dialer map ip 2.2.2.1 spid2ofR1
Thanks in Advance
Ananth
