I missing something very basic here in the Multicast section of the sample lab.

IE Sample Lab: Multicast: (E0)----R2 (S0)---------(S0)R3-----------(S0)R5---(E0)

Configured Auto RP with R3 Loop as RP, and R2 Loop as Mapping agent,
R5 E0 is joined to 226.26.26.26

Req:- R5 should respond to echo-req sourced from R2 Ethernet interface.

R5 responds for the pings from Loopback (ping 226.26.26.26) and Serial
interface (extended ping) of R2. But when pinged from Eth0 of R2 once
in a while it responds partially after a reboot. Debug ip mpacket does
not show anything on R3 or R5. my configs are similar to the solution
provided. Any suggestions?

First time PING from Eth of R2 is partial
success.....................................
