To start:

Check free resources from all workbook vendors, here's one:

I wish you not good luck, but good preparation (good opportunities/luck will hopefully follow).
regards
Veronica
P.S. My Advice List is long and somewhat off the technical topics.
1) Plan. Chart your strategy. Start with the ccie blueprint.
Consider: study style::::time management:::courses::multiple workbooks:::lab
equipment::
::build study library:::support network:::finances,finances,finances:::etc,
etc.)
2) Be realistic. Continually assess your strengths and weaknesses.
(seek independent assessment before the exam)
3) Be considerate to yourself. 2 failures, 3 failures,...x failures, that's ok.
Each failure brings you closure to success. Rethink your study strategy.
4) Know the technologies well enough to teach others.
5) Don't neglect your primary social support network - your family and friends. Get them on
your side.
6) Stay enthusiastic. Stay motivated. (Stay enthusiastic about the application of these amazing
technologies.
We are truly fortunate to be living here and now.)
7) Don't waste time believing that one magic approach or vendor or workbook or textbook will give
you a
ccie number. Examine each. Learn from many sources.
8) Be consistent. Keep the momentum. (Some weeks the progress is small. Have a strategy to
rev things up.
There may be a family illness or financial set back, that's life. Take a short
time off then get back in the saddle
and continue studying.)
