hi all
Im having problems with a basic ospf area <id> range setup. Im getting my ABR to summarize some routes it learnt via a neighbour...
Heres a snippet from my ABR:
router ospf 7
router-id 192.168.250.250
log-adjacency-changes
area 20 range 100.10.0.0 255.255.0.0
and heres a snippet from the routing table of another neighbor in another area:
100.0.0.0/24 is subnetted, 3 subnets
O E2 100.10.2.0 [110/20] via 172.16.6.5, 00:00:44, Serial0
O E2 100.10.3.0 [110/20] via 172.16.6.5, 00:00:44, Serial0
O E2 100.10.1.0 [110/20] via 172.16.6.5, 00:00:44, Serial0
as you can see, the ABR isnt advertising a summary for 100.10/16.... this is causing me a late night (as usual with lab prep i guess) :/
Both routers are running 12.2(24a)
anyone have any ideas?
thx
will
