Hi all

Sorry for slightly off topic.

We have a PIX firewall operating in fail over mode and i manage it,which is in a remote location.
One ethernet interface (eth2)has failed in the active PIX,this forced the satndby PIX to take over.

My doubt is ,i have a free interface,say eth3.Can i use this interface ,while my standby would be using eth2 as a failover counterpart.
I am afraid if the configuration is not same in the active and standby PIX,failover wont work.
 or Will it work ?
